  • A couple of weeks ago, we celebrated our wedding, together with 55 guests, at the Mallard Duck. We were so lucky to find this little gem in the Swan Valley which caters for small groups. From that first meeting with Alain to plan our wedding ceremony and reception, we felt we were in the hands of a professional. Everything was so well organized and Alain and Julie were extremely helpful. On our wedding day, from beginning till end, Alain kept a close eye on everything. The ceremony was held in the garden on the pontoon, it was a beautiful spring day and a gorgeous setting, we couldn't have asked for more. Our guests were very well looked after between ceremony and reception while we had our photographs taken. The restaurant was beautifully set up for the reception and the food was fabulous . It was a perfect day. Our guests were all so impressed that some of them are planning future functions at the Mallard Duck. Thank you so much Alain and Julie for making it all so easy for us! We'll come and have lunch with you soon! Rosanne & Ken PS: I can certainly recommend attending a Wedding Open Day at the Mallard Duck!

  • This was a really well run business. We loved the experience. They handled big groups really well.

  • ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
    - Attended as part of a group. - Rude inconsistent power tripping security guards. - Disgusting portaloos. - Not allowed access to the main area. - Poor selection of beverages out of plastic cups. I predict some lame reply from management in response to this review about RSA and following rules and blah blah blah. But if this is how you have to run the place to facilitate groups (which I would dispute as plenty of other places in the valley host groups without this nonsense) then maybe you should just consider not accepting them in the first place. What a joke.
